This event is only possible with the help of our amazing volunteers!
We need hundreds of volunteers to prep for and provide the day of hope and dignity to the Twin Cities unhoused community.
We appreciate your commitment to partnering with us.

December 2025 Opportunities

Two women are sitting closely together, praying with their eyes closed, in what appears to be a large conference or gathering space. One woman wears a beige jacket, and the other a green T-shirt with the words "A Cross of Kindness" printed on it.
A woman with blonde hair leaning over to speak with a seated woman wearing a gray beanie and black puffer jacket; background shows a crowded room with people and tables, possibly at a community event or conference.
A group of people at a busy career fair or conference, with many standing in line or talking with representatives at various booths. Two individuals are seated at a table with 'HEALTH' written on the front, engaging in conversation.
  • Lead person for each station at the event - This person would be “in charge” of one of the stations (i.e. volunteer station, welcome desk, food station, coat station, etc) ensuring that the station and it’s volunteers are ready to provide an excellent experience for our guests. This would require some training time before the event and working at the station both days (December 7th & 8th).

  • Lead/Supervisor for packing/sorting – This person would be in charge of the packing/sorting events providing directions to volunteers, maintaining a safe environment, tracking final inventory of what was packed. Training will be provided.

  • Lead Person for Event Clean Up – Execute the plan to tear down, pack up and ship out remaining product and supplies. Provide instructions to volunteers to ensure everything is cleaned up.

  • Event Decorator – This person would create and execute a plan to decorate the event space making it feel warm and inviting for our guests. Looking for creativity and resourcefulness to be able to work with a limited budget.

  • Movers/drivers/trucks – individuals/companies that would be willing to move the product and supplies to and from the Convention Center. Looking for donation of time (drivers and people willing to load/unload the trucks) and resources (Large capacity trucks).

  • Interpreters - Looking for 10-15 individuals that would be willing to be at stations or guest services to help our guests.

If you would be willing to help in this capacity, please send an email to Danielle at: danielle.igbanugo@coatedinlove.org
