ABOUT

In a single night nearly 8,000 Minnesotans experience homelessness.

A man with a beard wearing a black beanie, gray jacket, and black scarf sits on the sidewalk with food containers, a paper bag, a cup, and a large colorful shopping bag around him, beside a large glass window reflecting nearby trees and buildings.

Homelessness affects families and people of all ages,
genders, and races.

A man with a beard and mustache receives a haircut from a volunteer at a community event. The man is seated, smiling, and wearing a plastic cape. The volunteer is standing, wearing glasses and a cap, and holding scissors and a comb, preparing to trim his hair.

Nearly 40% of them are women and children.

This population needs our help!

Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved.
But for those experiencing homelessness, life is often marked by isolation, loss, and judgment. A few belongings can vanish in a moment—and support can feel out of reach.

At Coated in Love, we offer more than essentials. We restore dignity through warm coats, meals, and human connection.

Because when people feel loved, lives begin to change.
And it starts with you.

Coated In Love is a 501(c)3 charitable organization with 100% proceeds going to our mission of providing hope, help and resources to
people experiencing homelessness
and to all who are in need.

Our one-day event — 3000 Acts of Kindness — brings our mission into action. This is a place where all those experiencing homelessness are personally invited to come and receive
material needs, but more importantly,
to be truly seen, known, and loved.

This all-volunteer event served 900 guests in its first year. The next year, the numbers grew to nearly 3,000 guests, supported by over 500 volunteers. These numbers continue to grow.

The camaraderie, the chance to reflect in a safe, warm space—or simply talk to someone and feel seen and loved—is a welcome respite for those living on the streets.
